China Tianchen Chemical Engineering Corporation (TCC),previously known as the First Design Institute(FDI) of MCI,was founded in 1953,and is the first national chemical design institute in China under the leadership of the Ministry of Chemical Industry.TCC is authorized with the right to handle overseas business and is the first to obtain the certificate in conformity with ISO-9001 quality system certification among engineering enterprises in China.
In over 40 years after its establishment,the company has accomplished about 1,000 large and medium size state key projects, for which its work ranges from project consultation, engineering to construction ,thus Tcc has made significant contribution to the foundation and development of China's coal chemical, petrochemical,organic chemical, fertilizer, soda ash, chlor-alkali and fine chemical industries. Since its relocation in Tianjin 1973,TCC has completed design and construction work for over 400 projects, including more than 10 EPC (Engineering ,Procurement, and Construction) projects, among which 600,000 t/y Shandong Weifang Soda Ash Complex is a typical example. Over 120 prizes for engineering / contraction and technology were awarded.
TCC has about 1,000 staff members ,nearly 650 of them are engineers and senior engineers. the Industrial Furnace Center and The Design Information Center of the Ministry of Chemical Industry as well as Tianjin Spherical Tank Construction Union are set in TCC.Working to clients' satisfaction is TCC's unique guideline of service.
